KLIMMER KLIMMER
The value of AI, measured

Klimmer | AI Altimeter

Your people already save hours with AI. We measure how many are real, where they're going and how much reaches your income statement, with a report that stands up to your board's questions.

The problem

The hours are already being saved. Almost nobody sees them reach the income statement.

AI frees up time every day in your company. Without measurement or a destination, that time turns into more emails, more versions of the same report, or simply gets lost.

66%

of frontline workers surveyed receive limited or no guidance on what to do with the time they save with AI.

BCG, 2026 · 12,000 workers
57%

of Mexican companies with more than 100 workers that already use AI saw no significant impact on sales per worker over the last three years.

Banco de México, 2026
~40%

of the time AI saves is lost correcting errors, rewriting and verifying what it produced.

Workday, 2026 · 3,200 employees at large companies
~3×

US CFOs report roughly three times more productivity from AI than their revenue and employment reflect.

Why almost nobody can measure it

“It used to take 8 hours, now it takes 6” doesn't convince any board

With AI the process changes: steps disappear, new ones appear (like reviewing what the AI produced), and people, waits and bottlenecks change. The first objection is always the same: “it used to be this way and now it's that way, you can't compare them”.

Klimmer | AI Altimeter measures what doesn't change — the unit of work your business delivers — and explains everything that did change with an hours bridge. Every data point carries its confidence level.

An altimeter doesn't measure how far you walked. It measures how high you climbed.

StepsWhich ones were eliminated, merged or are new
People and handoffsHow many hands touch each unit of work
Touch timeMinutes of active work per step and per role
Waits and holdsThe time when nobody is working, but the customer is waiting
ReworkWhat comes back to be corrected, before and after AI
BottleneckWhether it moved or is still slowing the whole flow
Volume and complexityTo compare different months on equal terms
Cost per roleTo turn minutes into pesos, without inflating
The method

Six readings to reach a number your CFO will sign

We set the summit

We define the unit of work (a quote, an order, a close), where it starts and where it ends, and what counts as done right. It's signed before measuring.

We draw the map

Before and after: each step with its touch time, wait, people, frequency, rework and cost.

We rebuild the baseline

If nobody measured the “before”, we rebuild it from your systems' records, sampling and three-point estimates. Every data point with its confidence level.

We normalize

We adjust for volume, complexity, seasonality, the learning curve and whatever isn't attributable to AI.

We explain the variance

An hours bridge shows what was eliminated, what was reduced, what rework was avoided and what new steps appeared.

We give every hour a destination

Sell more, serve more without hiring, serve better or stop paying overtime. With an owner, an indicator and each hour counted only once.

46 hstarting January 1, 2027
The date that's already in your budget

In January your operation loses two hours per person per week

Mexico's maximum workweek drops from 48 to 46 hours in 2027 and reaches 40 in 2030, with no pay reduction. From that same January, electronic time recording is mandatory. The hours AI already frees up in the office can pay for the ones your operation has to make up, instead of covering them with overtime.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask us

We never measured how long things used to take. Is it still possible?

Yes. We rebuild the baseline with what was recorded (dates in your ERP, document numbers, emails, WhatsApp), with sampling of real cases and three-point estimates from the people who do the work. Every data point carries a confidence level and the result is presented as a range.

Do I need to have AI already implemented?

No. If you already use it, we measure what's happening. If you're just about to implement it, we take the baseline before kickoff — the best moment to do it — and project the value for your business case.

How big does my company need to be?

We work mostly with companies of 20 to 200 people in Monterrey and northern Mexico. All you need is a process that repeats with volume: quotes, orders, invoicing, collections, month-end close, recruiting.

Why a range and not an exact number?

Because an exact number built on estimated data doesn't stand up to a question from your CFO. A range with its confidence index does, and it also tells you which data is worth measuring better.
